Minor Program


The Department of Computing and Information Sciences offers a minor degree in computer science if the following courses are completed:
  • CIS 200 (4)
  • CIS 300 (3)
  • CIS 301 (3)
  • CIS 450 (3)
  • CIS 501 (3)
  • EECE 241 (3)
This is a total of nineteen (19) credit hours.

Students who started the minor program before Fall 2007 may use this form.


The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers a minor degree in Embedded Systems if the following requirements are met:

  • The following 9 hours of core courses must be completed with a grade of
    C or better:

    • EECE 633 (1)
    • CIS 721 (3)
    • EECE 733 (3)
  • The additional 6 hours must be taken from the following list:
