Business success means to deliver the right solutions at the right time to the right markets. Requirements Engineering (RE) is the discipline within systems and software engineering that bridges the entire life cycle and thus determines success or failure of a product or project. This mini tutorial shows how to best use RE and master its challenges. It practically describes how to develop and write good requirements and how to manage them during the project. The presentation underlines the basic concepts and practices of RE with broad industrial experiences.

Brief Biography: 

Dr. Christof Ebert is managing director and partner at Vector Consulting Services. He is helping clients worldwide to improve technical product development and to manage organizational changes. Prior to that, he held engineering and management positions for fifteen years in telecommunication, IT, aerospace and transportation. Dr. Ebert studied software engineering at the University of Stuttgart and Kansas State University. He serves on the editorial committees of several scientific journals and is a SEI authorized CMMI Instructor.
