Key Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer Intern will define, design, implement, and benchmark innovative next-generation Android software for Samsung mobile phones. Work with your assigned mentor and work on one or more advanced research projects – all in the field of smartphones, tablets and mobiles.
 
Qualifications:
·         Pursuing a Master’s/PhD in Computer Science
·         Communications skills necessary to communicate research project(s), document work, and give technical talk/presentation
·         Ability to work in a team environment
·         Proficient in Java, C/C++ programming; Android API experience is a huge plus
·         Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Other Desirable Traits:
·         Familiar with design tools (configuration management, source control, build management, automation and unit test tool harness, IDE, issue tracking system, collaboration system, etc.)

·         Must’ve written one or more Android or iPhone apps
·         Must demonstrate a strong trait of technology focused curiosity
