How to get to Manhattan, KS

  • From Kansas City International Airport ... (EAST)
    • Take I-435 South/West
    • Take I-70
    • Take Exit 313/K-177 North to Manhattan (9 miles)
    • When in Manhattan city limits, you will go across a bridge -- exit
      first right
    • Turn right at the light onto Fort Riley Blvd.
    • Travel West to the 17th Street stop light
    • Turn right on 17th Street
    • You will travel 11 blocks before you come to the Anderson Ave. stop

    • You will then be at the entrance to KSU
    • Cross Anderson Avenue and continue to the Information Booth for campus
      information and a temporary parking permit

     

  • From Junction City ... (WEST)
    • Take I-70 East
    • Take Exit 303/K-18 North to Manhattan (approx. 9 miles)
    • Once in Manhattan, K-18 will become Fort Riley Blvd.
    • Continue to 17th Street
    • Turn left at the light on 17th Street
    • You will travel 11 blocks before you come to the Anderson Ave. stop

    • You will then be at the entrance to KSU
    • Go straight through the light and continue to the Information Booth

     

  • From Nebraska ... (NORTH)
    • Take Highway 13 South to Highway 113
    • Travel South on 113 (which becomes Seth Childs Rd.) to Anderson Ave.
    • Turn left on Anderson Avenue and travel East to 17th Street
    • Turn left at the 17th Street light and continue to the Information
      Booth

     

  • From Council Grove ... (SOUTH)
    • Take K-177 North to Manhattan
    • When in Manhattan city limits, you will go across a bridge -- exit
      first right
    • Turn right at the light onto Fort Riley Blvd.
    • Travel West to the 17th Street stop light
    • Turn right on 17th Street
    • You will travel 11 blocks before you come to the Anderson Ave. stop

    • You will then be at the entrance to KSU
    • Go straight through the light and continue to the Information Booth

How to get to the CIS Department

The CIS department is located in Nichols Hall, a historic campus building which can be found at the south edge of the campus map.
